Mike & Louise do what they enjoy most - hosting folk who enjoy the traditions of a genuine English-style pub and grill. The many ‘regulars’ who keep returning to the picturesque town of Napier come to sample Mike’s excellent and varied menu. They come to experience the traditional Sunday roast and vegetables - joints of beef, lamb or pork with all the trimmings (including REAL Yorkshire Pudding!), together with starters and desserts.

Relax in the secluded garden or watch the world go by from the sheltered verandah … while some will prefer to socialise in the well-stocked pub itself. The cozy dining room is always popular too. Whatever place you choose to relax in, Mike & Louise will ensure your visit to them is memorable and satisfying.

Mike & Louise are living their dream … and sharing it with locals and tourists alike – Mike is the creator of all the delicious meals while Louise presides over the beverage side of things. They learned all they could about running the type of establishment The Fox has become – the ideal place to “eat drink and be merry” in a friendly and safe environment.

Both Mike & Louise are formally, and expertly, trained publicans and boast the only genuine Guinness Draught tap between Somerset West and Port Elizabeth (because Guinness are fussy about who they trust to distribute their products!) as well as 5 other popular brands, also on tap.

The Fox opens daily from 11h00 till late (but is closed on Sunday evenings, Mondays and Tuesdays).
